I need your help here if you don't mind.....

Can I know how much flow is passing through a control valve if I knew
Cv of the valve.
Type of the fluid.
Diff of the pressure.
Diff of the Temperature.
Opening of the valve

What the equation should I use ???

Do you have a small program can do that for me???

Do you know a web site regarding this???

Thanks for your cooperation,,,,,,,,,,,

Try the websites of various valve manufacturers, a lot of them have sizing programs on the site or downloadable from the site.
Jordan has one on site. that you can download. It offers globe style, sliding gate and low flow sizing for contro valves and regulators as well as both flow and Cv sizing.

Try getting the sizing formula and coefficients from the manufacturer of your valve but to answer your question, yes, you can calculate the flow. I would use this only as a rough estimate though some companies like Yarway are marketing a 'smart' valve that calculates the flow exactly this way and claim pretty good accuracy, I have no experience with them though.
