Calculating die pressure

Can anyone tell me how to calculate the external pressure applied to a die by assembling in a tapered sleeve/ring?
The assembly is commonly used in the cold forging industry and consists of a parallel cylindrical die which is inside a ring with a tapered o/dia. This in turn fits inside a case with the corresponding taper in it.
