I'm trying to find fluid velocity of sea water pushing on a system that is submerged and has been moved off its intended location. I know the depth at which the system is submerged and the displacement. I can figure out the volume, surface area, and moment of inertia of the system using SolidWorks.

How can I go about finding what velocity of sea water is making the system move?

Hi

Please read you're post and then consider how anyone from the information provided could possibly help you.
We know nothing about your system and you haven't provided a sketch or any data, so put yourself in our position and ask how you would answer this post.

Is this thing a single item or connected to some other thing like a pipeline or cable? You need to be able to model all of the forces and reactions.

Do you have all the geotech forces and data that provide resistance to movement? Volume and surface area is a start, but what shape is it? How much does it weigh? Is it on the seabed or suspended?

If you talk to some good subsea / pipeline engineers then they can model this for you depending on the complexity of your arrangement, but if it's on the seabed there are complex forces at work that can't be easily analysed.

As desert fox says, this is a vague question so gets a vague answer. Come back with more specifics and do some research yourself and you'll get support here.

My motto: Learn something new every day

Also: There's usually a good reason why everyone does it that way
