We have a project where we need to manufacture some Pipework brackets from Mild Steel. We therefore need to calculate the load that the pipework will apply to the brackets and this is where we need some help if possible. I have attached the loads the Pipework Designer has specified to enable me to work this out but need help in translating this into Nm that the Pipe bracket will see if possible.
Other info we know is :-
Pipes are 316 St/st & sizes shown on attachment are I.D of pipe.
Medium carried is clean Water as room Temp
Brackets are a simple 2m High Goal post design with pipes sitting ontop ( if indeed you need to know this )but if we know the Force we can Test said bracket in Solidworks Software.
The Bend angle on spreadsheet is at worst 90 Degree's
