Frends,

I require the radius of a overhead conductor but I have just GMR data for conductor available. Please let me know if anyone has an insight into the formulae for calculating radius from GMR.

I can lookup in manufacturer's table but I m constrained to use GMR to get radius of conductor.

Thanks,

GMR is calculated using the radius of each conductor and spacing between each. Without knowing the spacing (geometry), you cannot calculate the actual radius of the conductors.
