We have a client who would like to install 8 ton outdoor split A/C units in an outdoor area of 20m x 10m. The architects who are the main contractors need a professional calculation of the following stats.

Ambient temp 45deg C
Aircon ouput between 22-24 deg C
Humidity at 50%

How does one calculate this and present it in a professional and accurate manner to present to the client?

I am inexperienced in these calculations.

it's often repeated on these forum, but i have to re-repeat that - you have to engage someone whose profession belongs to this.

in the case you presented it is possible that manufacturer's rep would be willing and able to send you report with conditions you stated.

in my area manufacturers reps sometimes tend to accomplish simple engineering jobs presenting it to a client as saving money of hiring an engineer.

however, you will have to send him drawing with building and ac system layout. he would also need to calculate noise for you as well.

Don't try to bootstrap this, hire an Engineer who does it.

the discharge temp on your AC unit is only 23C? something doesn't sound right, or I'm not sure what you are asking

1) It is illegal in many places to practice engineering outside your area expertise. Penalties range from license suspension to fines to jail time.
2) You need to better define what it is you are calculating/looking for.
3) Hire/contract an HVAC mechanical engineer. He will have the tools and knowledge to answer your questions.
