Calculating the weight span of an overhead power line catenary under wind loading

I am having difficulties understanding the calculation of the weight span for spans subjected to wind loading in overhead power lines. Do I still have to consider the lowest point to define the weight span, or do I have to consider the lowest point of the catenary in the coordinate system of the inclined plan? I created a short gif to explain what I mean. The point shown in the gif is the lowest point of the catenary in the plane of the catenary, but not the lowest point if we look at the "z" coordinates.
Thanks!

At the point at which your cable is horizontal with respect to gravity, the partial span to the left will be supported by the left tower and the partial span to the right will be supported by the right tower.
I think that that is the point that you are looking for.
