Hi everyone,
Does anyone has an example of a calculation of condenser performance? I am following the HEI 10th edition... I've calculated the design conditions according to the datasheet of the condenser and the thermalkit...

But for real conditions...what should i use?

thanks.

Look at history, min/max water temps, various steam loads and such.
I have a spread sheet that I use for this.
You also will want to play with the fouling factor, this is the big one.

Look at your own data, or for plants in the same region, or use weather service data.
You need to use a little creative judgement for selecting min/max conditions.
You need for them to be realistic, but still to show the extremes.
