Dear All,

Could anyone advise me the Calculation of SAFETY DISTANCE for pressure testing;

Based on my knowledge the following Code covers the equation;

a) ASME PCC 2 Article 5.1, Mandatory Appendix III - Pneumatic safe distance
b) Lloyd's register (96-02) T-0240 - Hydrostatic and Pneumatic safe distance. However, I can't find the document for confirmation.

If you happened to have the calculation spreadsheet it would really help.

Your feedback is highly appreciated.

I have made my own calculation spreadsheet based on PCC. I recommend you make your own. That’s the best way to learn the methods and verify if your method is correct. Don’t trust any freeware provided interwebs document when it comes to determining such important calculations. What are you going to tell your boss when your colleague gets hit by a projectile - saying that user ET123 is responsible?
