calculation software verification

Dear All,

I have a question about the calculation software used for ASME Sec.VIII Div.1 & 2.
Are there any code request the calculation software to be verified prior to use?

Now, we are requested by AI every time to present our software verification document
to proof the calculation software availability.

The calculation software that we used are PV-Elite.
As I know, The software they have independent QA manual presented software capability.
There are calculation detail and comparison table, too.
Why can't use the QA manual to instead of verification paper work.
It's very strange.

Are there anyone same with my problem?
