Hi I am trying to study for my CA specific exams for my PE. My background is not in civil so I don't have good base for survey and seismic, I need good review class for both subjects. Can anybody suggest anything?
Thank you,
S.

When I took my registration test in a CA (1970 or so), I was able to buy selected previously used tests (up to 10 years back) to give you a perspective on the scope of what type of problems may be on the particular you received. The real benefit was that it eliminated surprises and allowed me to just answer the questions with the proper approach that I had learned in school or while working as an engineer.

It seemed to work well since I passed everything first time around. Ironically, I never have signed a plan with my name and number because it never was necessary. - All private/corporate/utilities work and administrative/management. It was not effort wasted because the PE or SE opens doors for other opportunities as long as you are current.

I am amazed the CA would let you take the CE specialty if you have no educational and/or work background in that area.
