Hi all,

Does anyone know the proper structure to edit a curve mesh surface to add in a new string in UG Open API/C? I am trying to compile and run in NX4. I can do this in NX2 for some odd reason but not NX4.

Please see attachment for example code and follow up post for a pic of what I am trying to do in the example. Greatly appreciate any help.

Please forgive me..I am having a brain cramp on this one and could use a good samaritan's help.

A code snippet of just the proper function structure in NX4 would do it too. Maybe someone knows somebody doing something similar?

Thanks again all!
George

Sorry, I'm an Engineer, NOT a programmer. I occasionally still dabble in GRIP (I used to do a lot of GRIP programming, back when I worked in the 'real world'). Besides, the only FORMAL training that I've ever had in computer languages (GRIP I pretty much learned on my own) was when I took a class in FORTRAN IV back in 1970 during my last year at Engineering school.

Thank you John...me too. I am much better at Grip that C. But I can do a lot of things in C too. I am trying to learn more.

If you know anyone that might know an answer to this one please point them this way.

I'm an old dog that needs a new trick.

Much appreciated!
George
