I have defined a camera view which has really poor performance in that the resulting image looks like the image quality when rotating a large assembly.

ie, cylinders have become rectangular blocks. Smaller components are blobs.

Large assembly mode is turned off and all other perfomance/image quality sliders are maxed out. Note that when not in camera view all the components are displayed absolutely fine.

Is it a system limitation?

SW06, SP3 (photoworks not installed)

Anyone else have this issue?

Hi
I'm running Solidworks on a low spec machine, which we upgraded.
Before the up-grade the slider on the shaded & draft quality moved showing a rounder circle in the picture box, but didn't make a difference to the actual model (especially cylinders).
Sounds like an hardware problem as the spec sound O.K.

Double-check your graphics card--that would seem to be the issue, although I've not read the SolidWorks comments on that card yet (that's your job). I'd guess the problem lies in not being able to regenerate the screen geometry in time.
