I am working at an industrial chemical facility, and we are experiecing some problems with our transmitters. We are using Rosemounts in their analog mode, and only using the HART to communicate for configuration and troubleshooting. Periodically we have transmitters go to a fault mode and also will not communicate. A power cycle will reset the transmitter and the problem is temporarily fixed. We have found AC noise on our DC power, and I wondered if anyone could tell me what level of AC will affect the HART? [sig][/sig]
