Can anyone tell me if Mathsoft 2001 will run on Dell XP64 OS

Hello, I just found this forum and I have added it to my favorites. The question I have is this. I purchased Mathcad (Mathsoft)2001 years ago. I never installed it because I was so comfortable with using mathcad v7. So, after purchasing a DELL workstation with windows XP64. I thought I would install it. But I'm not sure if OS and mathsoft 2001 are compatible. Can someone advise me.

There should be enough compatibility to make it work. I don't see any harm in trying it, although 2001 was reputed to have number of bugs and flaws.
