I've been requested to add some notes written in Japanese to a 2D drawing. When I copy and paste the notes into the annotation editor, they look fine, but when I click ok, all that shows up on the drawing are small rectangles. Is there a language or font file that I need to load or something?

You will probably need to use a font file which supports the extended ASCII character set. There are two which are generally supplied with NX, 'kanji.fnx' and 'knaji2.fnx'. I'm not sure what the difference is, but they appear to both cover the full extended ASCII character set. It's also important that your Operating System is set to use extended ASCII.

Thanks, John, "kanji" worked.
