Can I add text to a hole note(labels), like a dimension?

I've just put in a hole note to a hole wizard series of holes, and tried to add text..."L-Holes". I'm not sure if I've done this before with the hole note command. Can it be done? I'm in the dimension text area, and it wont let me add anything. I tried looking at the dismissed messages area to see If I've turned off an error message for this and found nothing.

Yes, you can. Not sure why you're not able to add text. When you try, you should get a message about breaking the link to the feature and that's it.

I'm not sure if it matters, but it is a hole callout that im referring to, not just a standard dimension.

Hole Callouts cannot be edited on the fly. They can be adjusted globally via the calloutformat.txt file.

Yes, I read that in your original post. My answer remains the same. I can add text to hole callouts be they individual, multiple or hole series.
Create callout
Click in Dimension text box
Type in additional text
Callout updated.

Problem Fixed:
Rebooting SolidWorks was the key. After returning to the file, I was able to edit the hole callout. Then I went thru the motions of turning the message off and checking the box to not show it again. At that point I couldnt edit the hole callout(of course). I checked the options/messages turned off area and that error was not shown. So then I rebooted SW again, and I could edit the hole callout again.
Problem solved.
