Hi.

Question is the subject. How can I draft these two surfaces separately?
When I select the purple cylinder, it selects the sphere also.
I know a workaround for this, but I'd like to know whether drafting can make it happen.

Fair enough. Here it is.
It's a copied solid because I can't share the base model. But I made it in surface with cylinders and sphere then trimmed the whole to get this form and created a solid with Close Surface.
I know there are several better ways to make this but I'm curious if it can be drafted this way.

If you want to do it in the Part Design Work Bench.
I would make two separate bodies with draft and rounded tip, then boolean add.
Then put in a fillet to get rid of sharp edge.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
It turns out the tangentially connected faces cannot be drafted in the way I wanted in my opening post. Anyway I accomplished it with revolved surfaces and some trimming.
both cones are tangent to the sphere.
