Can I use preintegrated general shell sections with curved shell elements?

Hi all!

I am modeling a shell-like structure and I would like to modify/assign the stiffnesses of the shell section. I have seen that with the SECCONTROL I can assign shear stiffness but I can't assign/modify membrane or bending stiffness. For this reason I have decided to use a preintegrated general shell section (SECTYPE,,GENS). When I am analysing a flat shell surface, then I have results. When the elements are curved I have warnings about the ratio: Radius of curvature/thickness and the analysis can't be completed. I assume that the reason is that in this way I don't assign a thickness so the ratio is infinite (even though in the warning is stated that the thickness is 1). So, I am wondering if this approach can be used with curved shell elements.

If there is any other way to assign/modify the stiffness properties of shell sections, I would be really happy to know it.

Regards,
Stavroula
