I am waorking on a building services project in Australia with natural gas service pressure of 2.75kPa being supplied by the retailer. The builder has now proposed that instead of 2.75kPa boiler, he wants to install 4.0kPa heating water boiler (says the selection had a typo when submitted for approval). Can someone advice whether it is possible to boost the line gas pressure using a pump (boosting the authority line pressure is not feasible as inlet mainfolds & piping are already installed)?
Thanks, any advice is appreciated.
