I am trying to modify some sheet formats. Usually, I go to file, save sheet format, and either overwright an existing one, or create a new one. Lately, however, the screen just blinks and nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks

I did figure this out, but still confused about how this program works. If I selected the sheet by right clicking the sheet tab and then selecting the sheet, I can make changes to the sheet format, but can not save it (as described in my initial post). If I select "browse" and load the sheet that way, I can then make the changes and the save the sheet. Seems that both methods of selecting the sheet format should allow for saving of the sheet format. Is there something I'm missing?

After you do "edit sheet format", do "edit sheet", then "save sheet format".

Yes, but as I recall, it did not seem to matter before, I could save the sheet while editing the sheet format (I do know that this is not desirable - but it would do it). The problem with this type of editing is that you don't have to change anything for long periods of time, then when you do, you forget. I figured out how to do it now, and can keep working, so thanks for the help guys!
