Can not select lines of a drawing view

Hi,

I have a problem from time to time where I can not select lines on drawings for dimensions etc.

I thought at first that it was because of hidden parts in the drawing view blocking the lines. It was not.

Then thought it may have been a drawing view overlapping the problem view. It was not.

I am using SW2006 sp4.1

Has anyone else had this?

I was having the same problem the other day.
Try moving your drawing off the sheet.
Worked for me.

The lines are just normal edges of parts and assemblies. Also holes.

I got it to work by opening the model and then opening the tree and then rebuilding and randomly selecting things as they were not highlighting in here either. Then went back to the drawing and it worked.

This happens quite offen tho.

We have talked to our service provider here in New Zealand and they told us it will be in the next service pack.

I don't use them much and they wonder why

This is still a problem and hope someone finds a fix.

Do a ctrl-Q while building your models and when you open your drawing... maybe the files need rebuilt completely.

Thanks Scott, I have even tried machine gunning ctrl-Q.
Sometimes zooming right out can work. But there seems to be nothing that fixes it completly.

I had this happen on cropped views a few times. The way around it was to uncrop and then crop again after.

Tune the performance / image quality back a bit. This has worked for me in the past
