Can someone please answer this one question about cable sheath cross bonding arrangement? 1

In short - can there be straight joints (without sheath sectionalizing insulation) within minor sections of cross bonded cable system?

Detailed - Assume that you have designed a cable cross bonded system with one major section and three minor sections which are perfectly balanced. But then during installation it turns out that additional joint is required (cable pulling calculation for one of the minor sections was incorrect for example). Will sheath bonding arrangement be compromised or adding straight joint (without sheath sectionalizing insulation) within a minor section electrically will not affect the cable system overall?

You want three sections or multiples of three sections of as close to equal length as reasonable between cross bonding transitions.
Intermediate splices should not be transitioned.

Thanks for your response, however I don't quite understand how this answers my question. Please see the picture attached to my post. Are you saying that we can have as many joints without sectionalizing links (shown in red) as we want?
 

If the sheath is continuous and the joint is relatively short with referring to the minor section length, the unbalance will be negligible.

Thanks. What do you mean by "joint is relatively short with referring to minor section length"? My understanding is that if a joint is non-sectionalizing then you have continuous connection of conductor and continuous connection of sheath so it's effectively just like another part of cable. The only thing to take into account is joint impedance, which would crate a slight imbalance between otherwise perfectly balanced sections. And if you had N number of non-sectionalizing joints within each minor section - then the system would again be perfectly balanced assuming that all non-sectionalizing joint impedances are equal.
