I imported a step file into Abaqus software. By default it is 3D deformable part. So when I try to change from deformable to Analytical rigid, it doesnt allow. I have converted it into analytical rigid in part module. But even then it is not allowing me to chnage from 3D deformable to Analytical rigid. Would anybody be knowing to how to change from deformable part to analytical rigid in the model tree ?

Analytical rigid parts must have a very simple shape, they need to be formed from lines, archa and parabolas. If you want rigid part of arbitrary shape, use discrete rigid. Or apply rigid body constraint to imported part.
