Can you do process piping B31.3 welding work with B31.1 quality control manual

I know there is no stamp requriement for the process piping B31.3. We have PP and S stamps and quality control manual for B31.1 and Asme Section I. But the QC manual does not mention anything about B31.3. My question is: Can we do B31.3 process piping welding work with the QC manual we have.

Your Code Quality Manual is not applicable to B31.3 work; however, the basics are similar. Note that the Inspector for B31.3 work is the Owner/Operator's Inspector - not an AI. B31.3 is Owner driven while the Boiler Code is not.
