can you llink features

I have a file where I would like to link a bolt hole from one file to the next as a feature. The only way I know about doing this is to wave link surfaces and trim body or interlink epressions. These ways are not very user friendly or quick and Iwould like to know if there is an easier way of linking a bolt hole from one file to another.

Have you tried doing a 'Copy & Paste' of the feature?
