Here is the situation:
I have an Excel workbook with many worksheets, which I have developed over the years. I copied the attached Excel file "Beamanalysis" (which was written by Alex Tomanovich and is available on the AISC website), to insert into my workbook.
I am attempting to link cells in "Beamanalysis" to various cells on various sheets of my workbook to eliminate redundant input and to improve functionality.
However, the cells don't seem to link - for example, if I write in: =BH!A207 (where BH is one my worksheets), nothing links, the cell keeps reading '=BH!A207 instead of whatever numerical value was in cell A207 of my worksheet BH.
Also note the ' that gets inserted to the left.
