Can't Add Color

SW 2008 SP3.0

All my colors are out of whack. How can I assign a color to a part? My edit color icon is won't work.

Before I could click on a specific area of a part and assign it a color. Why can't I anymore? Why did the 3.0 upgrade change that?

This is so annoying. I had to turn off my Photoworks add-ins, then it allowed me to change what i wanted.

Why does solidworks feel the need to fix one thing then take away what works?

Did you turn off anti-virus before doing the upgrade?

RealView does make a difference. I now add the button for "edit realview appearance" to my standard tool bar. It will allow you to make color changes while RealView is enabled more easily. (Tools/Customize/Commands/ then View category)
