Cant connect to license server via VPN using Win7 x64?

Pretty interesting situation that I would like to get some feedback on.

We can connect from work via a XP x64 machine and multiple XP x32 machines without a problem. From home via VPN they can still attain a license using XPx32. We have 2 users that are now using Win7 x64 and for some reason they keep getting an error message stating that the server is down or offline?

I am able to ping the server by host name and IP address. I have tried changing from name to IP Address in PTCsetup.bat and have tried disabling the entire firewall to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas if it is Windows 7 x64 or the Server which is a Windows 2003 x32 Server or anything else?? Thanks to all in advance...

Figured it out. There were some DNS problems so I added the route directly into our DNS Servers HOSTS file. Also included the route on the local Win7x64 machine. All good now.
