can't draw cable element?

I've got SAP version 11 and when trying to draw a cable element, it won't let me. I've defined it and when I try to draw a frame/cable element, it won't display the defined cable element in the selection box. Has anybody experienced this? Thanks.

Use 'draw frame' and in the pop-up properties box, change Line object type from Straight frame to Cable and draw it. There is a decent 'Watch & Learn' video tutorial in the support section of the CSI website explaining several cable modeling options

If you still can't draw a cable, check to see if your model is locked
