Hi,

Not normally a problem, but I can’t seem to release my networked SolidWorks license. I have tried closing SolidWorks, turning off my machine, unplugging my network cable, opening and closing SolidWorks and going into the SolidWorks network license manager.

I need to book a license out this afternoon and the license manager won’t let me do that as it says I already have the license booked out. However it does not appear in the list of licenses to return

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Steve

To check in/out a networked license you must be out of SWX at the time. I was frustrated with that because it wasn't clear from the SNL Manager that this was a requirement. Perhaps that is your issue.

I ended up re-starting the service from the server in the end, that seemed to clear it. Luckily you can do this quickly without everyone being thrown out of SolidWorks (I did make sure everyone saved first though)
