Can't get relative coordinates to work. 1

While trying to place rectangles between door jambs, the rectangle appears as a line. It appears that one of the coordinates is being ignored.

However, outside the wall openings, I can draw the rectangles without any problems. Please help.

Maybe your osnaps are over-riding the coordinates you enter-try it with osnaps off.

There is an option, probably in Options, User Preferences to have user input over-ride snaps and other automatic types of input.
