Cant get simulation express to start dialogue

Using Solidworks 2010

When I start simulation express, the side window opens but no actual dialogue box opens up - so nothing appears to happen

Is something not enabled properly?

Tell us about your model.

Is it, literally, one piece, carved from a solid block by subtraction of the cavities and apertures? Express doesn't work with anything else.

Ok its odd but for some reason it works now
