Greetings! Hope all are fine.
Currently I am performing heat transfer analysis & thermo-mechanical analysis, I am able to import only 9999 data from excel in an analytical field (location- X,y,z & Temperature), Abaqus 2019 in my college Cad Lab Workstation. When I input more than 9999, it shows error. check image.
In another laptop, I tried in abaqus 2018,2019,2020 & am able to import more than 40,000 data.
What is the problem?

This issue is described in Dassault Systemes Knowledge Base for Abaqus/CAE working on Linux. It will be solved in next release of Abaqus but there’s a workaround that you can try (if you use Linux):
- create a /tmp/scratch directory and set the permissions to 777 via chmod 777
- add the following code to abaqus_v6.env file in your HOME directory:

import os
os.environ[’TMPDIR’]="/tmp/scratch"

Thanks for quick reply.

My college cad lab workstation configuration - Intel Xenon(R)CPU E31245@3.3GHZ, 14 GB Ram, Windows 7 professional SP1 64 bit
My laptop Configuration- Intel I5, 6 GB Ram, Windows 8.1 64 bit

Licensed Abaqus 2019 is installed in Cad lab workstation. (i can't input more than 9999 data)
In my laptop & my friend laptop, abaqus 2018,2019,2020 installed & I can input more than 40,000 data.

Problem Solved permanently, I just cleared/deleted all the files present in the default temporary folder, i.e, %Temp% directory (C drive)
