Hi all,

Got a problem.

I have a model (950 parts) and one of the sub-assemblies in the model has moved, and I have absolutely no idea how it moved. I've tried retracing my steps, but unfortunately I cannot for the life of me move it back.

I have gone through all the mates, tried to find anything that would make this sub-assembly completely unmovable. Even pressing my mouse button harder doesn't work. :)

Is there a quick and easy way to view all relations that the sub-assembly has to the main model?

All help greatly appreciated.

Expand the sub-assembly and open the mates in <name of assembly> folder. Any mates that the sub-assembly has in the main assembly will be there.

CorBlimeyLimey,

I'm running SW2010 SP4.

Thanks for the advice, I'll have a look at these grounding mates, hopefully this might do the trick.

JMirisola,

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Hi Moon161,

Yep, fixed it. CorBlimey was right. I found the grounding mate after a major investigation. I seemed to have mated to a ref plane, then forgot all about it.
