Cant see toolbars

In ACAD 2009 when I open it 50% of the time the toolbars are in place the icon display just isn't there. I've tried creating a seperate folder to grab my cui. files from and load them onto my menu. However, like I said its a 50/50 shot of the icons showing up on the toolbars. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the VIEW pull down menu and select TOOLBARS and check mark those that you want in the drawing area.

The toolbars show up on the screen, its the icons that don't. It just shows a blank space for where the icons should be. If I hover over them it will tell me what they are but there is no picture of the icon. Does that make sense? ie: LAYERS II toolbar is checked off and is showing up on the screen the icon itself for "layer isolate" won't show the icon.

It seems that the icons were deleted and I dont know how. You may have to reload ACAD.
