Hello,
My fellow Pro/E user here at our work is running across a silly situation. If he draws a cosmetic square or uses the "Use Egde" command in drawing mode to select a square this works fine. When he goes to hatch or fill this area it cant be done. He can only select 1 line at a time even when holding down shift. We have gone back to old drawings that he has done this type of fill on and now he can not do it anymore. When I pull in his drawing into my system (Pro/E) I can do this type of fill just fine. WEIRD

Would anyone know a solution or has anyone had this happen to them?

Thanks
John

In your pro config find the setting called 2button_mouse_mmb_support and change the setting. I'm at home now and cannot check my setting at work. But if it says "yes" change it to "no", if it says "no" change it to "yes" (just change it). Save the setting and you should be able to use the "shift-key" to pick multiple drawing items.

Also, when I get to work I will check my mapkeys. I have a mapkey called "hatch". When I type in hatch now, it allows me to put a window around draft objects for hatching. Tomorrow at work when I can get the mapkey at my office, I'll follow up this message.

I should say, click on "Utilities" then "Options" and find 2button_mouse_mmb_support and set it to "No"
(this is the way it is in pro 2001)

Also, I have the following lines included in my config.pro file. If you include it in yours you should be able to select multiple draft object by typing "hatch". It works for me.

!10/13/03 added "hatch" mapkey to pick multiple draft
!entities for creating a hatched area

mapkey hatch @MAPKEY_NAMEHatch;@MAPKEY_LABELHatch;#CREATE;#FILLED AREA;mapkey(continued) #HATCH;#PICK MANY;
