Hello once again,
I am having a hard time trying to activate another coordinate system. Here's the deal: a heat source moves through the center of the plate, based on the Global Coordinate System. After it finishes moving, another heat source must move 0.02 meters aside the path of the firt heat source. I tried to define a new coordinate system using the command LOCAL,0,11,0.02,0,0 and even trying to activate it (even though it should be the active coordinate system by the time I use the LOCAL command, as far as I am aware of) by using the CSYS,11 command. The thing is, the second heat source also moves through the Z coordinate of the Global Coordinate System! No matter what I try, it simply cannot use my recently defined coordinate system.
What can I do? I am using APDL commands on Ansys Workbench v14.5.
