Hi everyone!
I am writing a code in Matlab for cantilever beam with two load cases in the end - point load and moment (and linear shape functions).
In Matlab I cant see visually shear locking.

Is it right that will be a difference between Full/Reduced integration? What will be the difference? (full is less accurate(?))

Numerically speaking, Full integration will be wrong but i need to show both.

What kind of finite elements do you use to model the beam ? I would run some benchmarks in commercial FEA software to check the performance of full vs reduced integration elements in particular case. Of course there are also many already prepared tests with evaluation of the results.
