I'm replacing some burnt polar capacitors on an amp board that goes to a Bose speaker. One of these capacitors is a 1 uF 16V but all I have in stock right now is 1 uF 50V. My question is this, can I use this 1 uF 50V to replace the
1 uF 16V without it affecting performance of the amp?
Thanks for any expertise.

It depends. Are they both the same type of cap?

Yes, they are the same kind of cap. Just different voltage.
