We have a big salt problem in our field and we usually just pump KCl water treatments, but this has become increasingly expensive so we are looking for other solutions. Perhaps the best one is a capillary string. But I don't know some things about them. For instance, what drawbacks are there? How much more difficult is it to do workovers? How often do they break when retrieving them? How expensive are they? How often do they need replacing?
