Shade cloth car ports of the cantilever type 5,5m x 5 to 7,5m wide are commen. Taking the parabolic profile of the canopy into account, what coefficient (Cpe) for wind pressure with a reduction in the percentage (say 90% for 10% porosity) of the wind loading for a solid roof, would be advisable? What live load would be recommended - 0,3kN/m² or is this to much?
