Carb floats supplier

I am in need of a custom carburetor float, does anyone know someone that can product brass floats in small runs (about 1,000) in the USA?

Do you have to use brass in order to have fuel compatability or would a composite be possible?

I guess some composites would work but there will be alky applications and those users prefer brass floats.
