Hi,
I am trying a simple comparison between a tube beam made from steel and and one dimensionally the same but carbon tube but while I have data for the steel tube have little for the carbon tube. Construction of the tube would be prepreg woven material aligned 0 - 90 along the axis.
Can anyone provide figures for Young's modulus, Tensile strength and yield strength. I'll not be holding anyone to account for the figures and no, I'm not designing an aircraft!
Thanks
