i work on the project based on the carbon thrust pad using in submersible pump.
i have problem my thrust pad failure
i suggestion to your opinion for the best material using in carbon thrust pad

its failure cause of misalignment
and
then its create wear in carbon thrust pad surface
so its will be fail.
i decide change material properties
so i can know best material for thrust pad

Fix the misalignment is the easiest solution as changing materials won't overcome the initial problem.
