I'm a 30 year old newly seperated Marine Corps officer. I'd like to go back to school and am considering my options. Would you comment on the following aspects of a career in PETR? BE BRUTALLY HONEST!
-Job security
-Corporate culture (i.e. political brutality level)
-Peak oil (and related issues), effects on the career field
-Is the salary a bubble? (i.e. 1980's mass layoffs lead to labor shortage, now the career makes the news for being high paying, recession....is there about to be an influx of new graduates along with other factors that will drive the salary and job security down?)
-Your objective opinion on pros/cons of entering the career
-Will entering the field at 32 years old hamstring a career?
