Is this on a McQuay chiller? That is what they use as thier new Micro2.

Well, what kind of problem??

Are you programming the pco yourself, or is it a standard Carel program?

Are you using the expansion valve driver module, or just sending an analog signal to the alco controller board?

Some of the default macroblocks don't like to see a deadband set to 1. But this only matters if you are writing the software yourself.

Infinite is term that should is used loosely. Your are limited to the resolution of the analog output from the pco2. In general, it is not a big deal but if you are having a control problem, between the resolution and the non floating point math it could create some error.

I have built 2 process chillers using the Carel pcoXS as the main control and the new DIGITAL scroll. If I use a loop calibrator and manually adjust the output pot, I can keep +/- .05 C. With the Carel it will only do +/- 0.1. I say only that is actually pretty damn good. My loop calibrator goes to .01 VDC where the pco can only do .1

I love the pco though.

Where the heck are you?

Buenos noches.
