Anybody have any experience using CARMAN diagnostic tools?

These tools seem to be pretty good after looking into what the manufacture tells you about them, but I have yet to meet a single person who uses one.

Does anyone here know from first hand experience what their pros and cons might be?

I've been putting off getting a handle on OBD for some time but reckon its about time I bit the bullet.

I don't want to buy just a code reader.

I want something that actually lets me study sensor inputs / outputs and make adjustments at a lower level.
