Cast/Ductile Iron Body Regulators

B31.3 restricts the use of cast/ductile iron piping and pipefittings, and I would assume this material restriction would include valves and reguators...is this a good assumption. I have looked into the engineering codes for a couple big companies and could not find any references/restrictionsregarding material for pressure regulators with no luck....

Would like some thoughts on this subject...thanx.
