this question is directed to dbooker630. I have a question regarding your posting of porosity in castings. you said in a post "as far as size is concerned, I generally go with .060" diameter and .030" deep for porosity, shrink and sand holes if they are in a critical area. Double the size for a lower soundness area." Can you please tell me how you set that standard or where did you find it???? Thanks.
